Valentino: The Last Emperor!

Hey Guys! You've probably noticed I haven't been writing for quite a while, well there is a great and very convincing excuse for it! I haven't stopped watching fashion movies while studying for my semester exams at the same time: P (guess where my attention is directed? still pretty confident Ill do great). In the last couple days I have watched wonderful movies like Coco Before Chanel, The September Issue, a movie about Vogue’s yearly September limited edition, and Valentino: The last Emperor. This last one was my very favorite, its sense of fashion, esthetic and beauty have amused me in many ways. The whole fashion world, their parties, places and fabulous shows were all before me in a spectacular movie I truly recommend to all of you fashion lovers.

See you later my dear bloggers!

 Love You!

Must-Have Summer Nail Trends

Hey guys,
I am sooo sorry that I haven’t written in a couple of weeks! I just got overwhelmed with homework and sports, so I left my blog aside! But I am back now! There has been all this tips for summer so I want to contribute!

You know how nails are VERY important for a girl’s life (or boys that are reading this). A lot of people have come to me and say that nails are not a big deal, and I am like WTFudge, right?

So here are the summer nail trends!

Avatar star Zoe Saldana keeps the black polish trend elegant, rather than edgy, by keeping her nails short, rounded and intensely high-gloss

A softer take on the black nail trend, navy is a favorite of Whitney Port for its ability to flatter even the most porcelain of complexions

Tennis star Serena Williams sprinkles some sparkle on her bright pink nails, encrusting them with clear crystals just at the tips.

Reese Witherspoon gives her special Avon Empowerment sparkler, center-stage with a nearly-nude wash that's a step beyond sheer but not quite opaque. And she has good reason to let the bauble shine: 100% of proceeds support the Avon Foundation's

Matching her polish to her sun-kissed skin, Jennifer ushers in summer with natural, glossy tips.

Charlize Theron vamps it up with high-glamour, high-gloss red polish that borders on black.

This is it for today1
loveyou!

I almost forgot, I got this terrible cold, which unfortunately came with this ugly cough (nasty, beleive me).

I`m Back!

Heellooo!
woohoo! I am back from holy week! I went to my farm, I had a great time, thankyou. Oh! But the best thing of all was that we bumped into some old friends and they invited us to mesa de yeguas! It is basically a club but, each guest owns a house. So we had even a better time!

So, where were we? Oh! Right! FASHION!
I hope you liked the makeup tips, but let us return to our main topic, I am going to drift a little bit from dresses and clothes, lets talk about celebreties and their puppies!

Here they go:

This photo supplied by Pedigree dog food shows actress-model Molly Sims cuddling her dogs, Chloe and Poupette, as she turned up to at a shopping center to promote Pedigree dog food's new Super Chew in the Hollywood section of Los Angeles. I wish i had twin dogs, like hers!

Actress Katherine Heigl poses with her dog on the press line at the Peter Alexander boutique store launch in Los Angeles. I love her dog! But do you know what I love more? Grey`s Anatomy! Best TV show ever!

Julianne Hough with her dog Lexi attends the Netflix 'Wizard of Oz' outdoor concert and screening in Central Park in New York. Aww! It`s beautiful! I want one like that!

Britney Spears, holding her dog Bit Bit, and husband Kevin Federline, walk the red carpet during the 2004 Billboard Music Awards. I am not that into chihuahuas, so I really don`t like them that much, do you?

Actresses Blake Lively, holding her dog Penny, and Leighton Meester stay dry while filming is halted due to rain on the set of 'Gossip Girl' in New York. I am going to literally die! It is the second cutest puppy after mine! BTW I LOVE Gossip Girl!

Glad you enjoyed! See you next time!

Last But Not Least

How are you doing today, my dear bloggers?
Well, I am doing just fine, thanks for asking. This week I have been very tired because in just two days ans six hours, we go out to holy week! woohoo! So I have been super lazy and just not having the strength to do anything at all. Well, that is it for now, and below you will find the last but not least make up tip that I promised:

Lips:

morning
Give dry, flaky lips the brush-off. Add "brushing your lips" to your morning ritual using a soft toothbrush or washcloth. Then apply lip balm to smooth the way for lipstick-worthy lips!

bedtime
Turn up the moisture before you turn out the lights. Give your lips a touch of clear, rich moisture each night and you'll wake up to softer lips in no time! Special tip: If you don't have lip balm, eye cream makes an effective, gentle lip moisturizer.

all day
Avoid over-exposure to the sun, which can dry your lips the way it dries the rest of you. If you spend a lot of time outdoors, we suggest Continuous Color Lipstick, with loads of conditioners and emollients built right in!

in the sun
Be sure to use a lip balm with sufficient sunscreen before and after soaking up the rays.

mouth off
Try coating extremely chapped lips with petroleum jelly or aloe vera overnight. Another speedy healing remedy is to gently rub lips with cucumber slices.

That isif for now, chao!

More Makeup Tips!

Hey guys,
I am so sorry I haven`t posted something in the last five days. You see, here in Bogota,Colombia, there is this thing called "puente", which means we don`t have school on mondays, because we are celebrating a holiday. In this case, students like me, take advantage of the extra day and go to the outskirts of Bogota. It is nice getting away for just three days because it is really cold in Bogota, but in the outskirts it has a warm temperture! Can you beleive that? By just traveling two hours away from Bogota, there is this drastic climate change, that is one thing I love about this place!

Oh! I almost forgot! I promised you guys a few other makeup tips, well, here they go!

EYES:

for deep-set eyes
•Rely on pale, shimmery shades to enhance your eyes. Sweep a light shade across lid from the inner corner to a just beyond the outer corner

for wide-set eyes
•Create closeness applying a deep shadow shade from the inner corner to mid-lid. Then apply a lighter shade from mid-lid to outer corner and blend where shades meet.

for close-set eyes
•Help them appear wider by applying a pale shade from the inner corner to mid-lid. Then apply a slightly deeper shade from mid-lid to outer corner and blend where shades meet

for glasses-wearers
•Forget about adding more color with shadows. Instead play up lashes with an inky black mascara.
•Take time to shape and define your eye brows—remember, brows should frame your eyes, not your frames.

for asian eyes
•To bring out their beauty, create a thick, smoky line along top lashes-thick enough to be seen when your eye is open-and a thinner one under bottom lashes

I am going to leave you with a little of intrigue, so be ready for tomorrow make up tips for lips!

Write to you later!

Clothes? Nope, Make up!

Bonjour!
I am feeling really "frenchy" because I just got out of french class! You should really try it, it is an amazing language, but at the same time, I am kind of bummed out because yesterday we had a bascketball game against another school, and we lost! It was very dissapointing, but our team played really well!

Back to fashion, I am going to change a little of our theme for today, we are going to talk about make up!

Face:
normal skin
Normal Skin usually looks and feels smooth, but can also react to changes in the environment: oilier in the summer and drier in the winter.
Choose foundations and powders for normal skin, like TruBlend for easy shade matching or Clean for a water-based fresh feel.
Apply a layer of moisturizer underneath for dry, winter conditions or whenever you enter a parched environment.
Keep a pressed powder on hand for oilier moments or more humid days.

dry skin
Dry Skin occurs naturally as you age as the oil glands decrease their output. Dryness may also reflect your skin's sensitivity to skin care products, cleansers, or even your diet or your emotions.
Choose double-duty foundations that moisturize while helping to smooth the appearance of skin's surface.
Avoid alcohol-based products, like harsh toners and astringents.
Moisturize, moisturize, moisturize! If your skin is extra dry, try a tinted moisturizer as a base for your foundation.

oily skin
Oily Skin is shiny and sticky. It starts the day by feeling clean and fresh, but by noon, feels greasy and slick.
Start with a deep cleanser that washes away dirt, oil, and fights bacteria.
Try foundations and powders that help control oily shine without causing dryness to skin, like Clean Oil Control Makeup.
Avoid touching your face during the day! Oils from your hands get transferred from your palms or finders without you even realizing!
Change your pillowcases more often. Oils can get trapped in the cloth and later irritate skin.

combination skin
Combination Skin usually expresses its unique qualities with oiliness in the T-zone and normal-to-dry skin everywhere else.
Choose an oil-managing powder for your T-zone (and other oily areas) like Fresh Look Pressed Powder.
Use a flexible make-up routine to help cope with combination skin's many moods.

sensitive skin
Sensitive Skin easily gets blotchy or irritated when coming into contact with makeup, hair products-even sudden changes in temperature and humidity! Typical reactions are itching, burning, chafing and stinging skin.
Don't use harsh facial washes or soaps whose main ingredients are alcohols or fragrances- they'll only further skin's irritation.
Use an unscented moisturizer to strengthen your skin and provide a barrier against irritants.
A key to clearness is in fragrance-free makeup, like Clean Makeup and Pressed Powder.

healthy skin basics
Choose a diet with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables to nourish skin from the inside.
Drink eight glasses of water a day to stay hydrated
See a dermatologist for any persistent problems, including acne.
Wear a sunscreen whenever you go outdoors to help prevent premature aging and sunspots.

Tomorrow I will post some tips for the eyes!
Blog to you tomorrow!

Here Comes Fashion Police

Buenas Tardes Followers! ( that means good evening in spanish)
How are you doing in this wonderful day?
Well, I have some exciting news for you today, I am going to talk about Fashion Police! That is just one of the many things I am obssesed with, arent you?
Well, here it goes:

Now this is the Jennifer Aniston I like to see. The actress heads out of the GMA studios looking chic in a belted black dress, lovely coat and Christian Louboutin peep-toe slingbacks—all modern, updated classics. Well, except for the hair, but we'll let it slide this time.

The 90210 star pairs a blue printed bubble skirt with a sweetheart bustier and strappy heels at the Kia Motors Matters on Design after-party in L.A. I dont really like the dress in general, but it does look good in her.

She's got legs! The actress spotlights her stems in a sexy white shirt-dress and ankle-strap heels at a friend's
baby shower in Hollywood. I absolutely ADORE the dress! Have to have it in my closet!

Long Story Short

sweethearts!
Wasn´t OSCAR week exhausting?
Well, I am glad that I could cover every single one of your doubts. You know that you can ask me anything you want. Because of the OSCARS, there hasnt been any recent red carpet, so I am going to tell you about me :)

School is doing good, but I did have a HUGE problem with my girlfriends. Look that I got into a really big fight with my two ex-bestfriends. It was a whole mess, I would tell you every single detail but it is just way long. So long story short, we had a huge fight including screaming, etc, and well now, we are not friends. Fortunately, there was a group of girls who told me to hang out with them, and now we are all friends and I am having a great time in school.

thanks for reading...........me:D

OSSCARR TIIMEE(singing right?)

My love`s!
I am soo sorry I couldnt blog to you last night while the OSACARS were playing! But I did took notes while watching them! You should of seen me, I was in my couch, with a jar of icecream right beside me, watching the OSCARS, while taking notes. My family was a little teeny cripped out beacuse I was like screaming at the TV whenever I saw I beautiful dress! It was funny.

OOOSSCCCARRR TTTIIMMMEE(singing right?)

It's Hollywood's biggest night and thank god Best Actress nominee (and best actress ever) Sandra Bullock pulled out all the stops on the red carpet with this metallic Marchesa gown with embroidered bodice. Sandy, you've never looked better!

It's been a rough red carpet season for Up In the Air's Anna Kendrick. She's yet to really wow us with any of her dress choices, and we were really hoping she'd figure everything out by the Oscars. Unfortunately, while this blush pink Elie Saab gown is pretty and feminine, it just sort of blends with her skin and, even worse, blends into the surroundings. That's just not cool on a night where the Best Supporting Actress nominee is supposed to stand out.

It wouldn't be a red carpet if Sarah Jessica Parker wasn't there carrying off some crazy fashion. Last Oscars it was a '50s-inspired Dior number, and this year she takes it into the '60s with this yellow silk Chanel Couture column gown. This is just the kind of thing I expect from SJP—and far from feeling predictable, I love it!

From the knees up, British nominee Carey Mulligan is a stunner in this Prada frock. The beaded, bejeweled bodice is fantastic, and it's just the sort of interesting detail we expect the quirky star to wear. But all that awesomeness is ruined by the skirt's asymmetrical bottom part and fugly heels. Too bad, this could've, would've, should've been amazing.

And in the Most Pleasantly Surprising category, it's Miley Cyrus for the win! Well, OK, the bunchy bustier needs some fixing, but besides that, this sequined Jenny Packham gown is the perfect mixture of youthfulness and glamour. Add the soft updo and some well-placed bling and this is the best Miley has ever looked.

Now this is the kind of gown that we watch the Oscars preshow for. Zoe Saldana's dramatic Givenchy couture gown is the kind of divisive (and different) design that you either love or hate. I? I`m going to have to go with Team Love It. It's got glitter, ruffles, color and ombre shading—what's not to adore?! Which side are you on?

Ahhh, I`m dying! Jennifer Lopez's strapless, origami-fold Armani Privé gown looks like the most elaborately designed piece of bubble wrap ever. We just wanna reach out and pop the plastic so bad—who wouldn't?—starting with the wad of material bunched into her massive hip adornment.

After spending the past year or so lecturing our little Twilight star Kristen Stewart to stand up straight, smile and brush her hair, I can't help but feel a little bit like a proud parent here. Her midnight blue Monique Lhuillier gown is both gorgeous and gothic (just how she likes it), and she actually looks happy to be wearing it. Success! Now let's just hope she keeps this up come Eclipse premiere time. Can`t wait!

Somebody peeked Taylor Swift's private sparkle dress closet! Cameron Diaz actually looks stunning in the glittery gown by Oscar de la Renta. More importantly, though, she's brushed and styled her hair! And her makeup is stunning. What can we say? Lady looks smokin'.
Thanks for following:D

The Best Day!

WOOHOOO
I am so excited! Guess whattt? Yes! You are right, the OSCARS are in 4 dayss! woohoo! and you won`t beleive what will make the day even better... my birthday is on the same day! I just couldnt choose a better day to celebrate my birthday! I can just imagine sitting on the couch with my new presents with friends and family watching the OSCARS and at the same time my birthday? whoa it is just to much excitement for one day!

Enough about me, lets now talk about fashion!
I am getting goosebumps on just thinking what are these amazing actors are going to wear? can you even imagine? I am going to go CRAZY with my blog after the OSCARS!

Here is another ineteresting story, check it out!

New York: Tommy Hilfiger, Malandrino, Ports 1961, Calvin Klein and Zac Posen Fall 2009

Don’t you just love starting the day with a tea and a little Tommy?
One of the first shows of the day was Tommy Hilfiger, but before I talk clothes, I must talk crushes. My main squeeze—well, officially Diane Kruger’s—is Joshua Jackson. He brought along his million-dollar smile, baby face and jet black Wayfarers.

Tommy boy’s inspiration: 5th Avenue. “Aspriational, yet attainable.”
Hot highlights: A sand-coloured suede zip-front coatdress, vintage cream jeans, candy pink satin corset dress, cropped black shearling motorcycle jacket and the pale pink lamé bow blouse.
All in the details: Lovely lace overlays, long skinny embellished clutches, lavish fur, transparent touches, electric colours, elegant draping and chain brooches.
The jacket to buy: A cropped waiter jacket with a fabulous furry collar.
Celeb spotting: Mary J. Blige, Mena Suvari, Sophia Bush.
Hair: sculpted into beautiful knots on top of the head. Kind of like delicious bows waiting to be untied.
Show tunes: “Somewhere Over the Rainbow.” Music this season has definitely carried a message.

Ports began with a performance by Red Baraat Festival! A Punjab drum and brass band, which was amazing. Note: live music at shows adds so much energy and atmosphere.
Theme: India’s Mughal Empire. Think masculine tailoring, ornate details, fitted bodices, dhoti pants, controlled volume and discreet touches of shine.
Best eveningwear alternative: An off-the-shoulder lamé top paired with matching drop-crotch trousers. So chic.
Everyone’s a critic: chatter on the way out consisted of comments on the “overstyling” of Ports shows.

Over to Calvin Klein for a touch of modernity. Season after season, this is truly a collection designed for New Yorkers.
Favorites: Black boots with thick straps, black crackled embroidered silk drawstring trousers, ivory and black dégradé painted velvet coat.
Hair: Buns continued to be a hair trend over at CK. This time around, the knots were unkempt, a little wispy, and held back with a thick black band.
Colour du jour: Black and more black. With a little ivory, sulfur and juniper thrown in for good measure.

Write to you later on my next post!

SOS

Hey guys,
Look that I have this terrible cold and I feel awful! The only thing that I have done this weekend is watch Rachel Zoe`s Project, since the moment I woke up and the sincemoment I go to sleep. I am just so obsessed with it!

While I was watching like my seventh episode, I was wondering that I really want to be like her. Don`t you sometimes think about your future and what are you going to do? Like for example, I want to study medicine but I love fashion and it is what I want to do! I just can`t decide. Please tell me that something similar is happening to you because I really need help! I am getting all stressed out about the future and I am still a freshman! How will it be in senior year?

HELP!

Another FA-BU-LOUS Red Carpet

Heelloo againn
Today I am feeling happy so I am going to write in colorss.
Here is another red carpet that you may like. ENJOY:D

Taylor Lautner:

Are you team Edward or team Jacob. I am TEAM EDWARD 100%. Even though he is not Edward... he looks super hot in this Calvin Klein suit.

Olivia Wild:

The House doc opted for a ladylike look in this demure white Monique Lhuillier dress topped with a black belt, Judith Leiber clutch, Sergio Rossi platforms and Van Cleef and Arpels jewelry. I really like this dress. She looks fabulous in this dress.

Mariah Carey:

Mariah let her curves pop in this retro-glam Ysa Makino beaded gown and Neil Lane jewelry. For girls with big torso this is the PERFECT dress.

Lea Michele:

What better way to show your Glee than with this colorful number? The small-screen star – who took home the award for favorite new TV comedy – vamps it up in a sexy sweetheart mini, House of Lavande jewels and rainbow peep-toes.

Kellan Lutz:
Although he isn't Edward or Jacob he looks really good in a blue blazer and matching tie – both from Calvin Klein Collection – and didn't leave empty-handed, winning favorite on-screen team for Twilight.

Kate Walsh:

Kate made her glittered way onto the red carpet in this stunning green, gold and beige sequined minidress and Casadei heels. I don`t really like the dress but some how she works it our for it to look really good.

Demi Lovato:

The favorite breakout music artist nominee opted for sexy sophistication (check out that Carrera y Carrera diamond necklace!) in this low-cut, handkerchief-hem Jenny Packham dress and Rene Caovilla heels.I don`t like this dress too much.Even with a nice dress it would be a little too much for my taste.

Taylor Swift:

And for our big finally. Taylor Swift. I am a HUGE fan of Taylor. She looks FA-BU-LOUS in this white, strapless Jenny Packham mini and Neil Lane diamonds. I cant get over this dress. I could like literally die right now.

Thanks for following. See you next time :)

New York Fashion Week Runways!!!:D

Helloo
I still cant get over the fact of new york`s fashion week. I cant stop seeing the runways. This is what I like and wish that I could do when I grow up. I LOVE design.

Vera Wang also presented this fall 2010 collection at New York Fashion Week. She is an American designer, famous for her amazing wedding dresses, and again by the star-black color for year-end.

As you can see in the gallery, the collection has a very youthful touch. Vera Wang takes us from the slides to the fringes. In what she wanted to call "The Bride Wore Black" (The bride wears black). And is that black is the basis of all her clothes this season. She used some touches of blue and raw colors.

Unlike what we saw in the parade of BCBG. It is a very sober collection both formal and informal. Mostly a collection for the night. With some inspiration too masculine. Vera Wang has created a very modern style and elegant fall for the woman of today.

Please see this page. If you are really into fashion you could die right now.

Here are the videos of the runways please commentt
hope you like it :D

BAFTA Awards 2010! :D

Hey everyone.
I know I am a little late writting about the BAFTA awards. To tell you the truth there is no event going on right now so I am going to write about previous events.
These are the dresses that this AMAZING actors showed in this glamorous red carpet:

VERA FARMIGA:

The best actress nominee looks light as air in her white chiffon Marchesa gown, Asprey jewelry and VBH clutch. She look IN-CRE-DI-BLE. I personally LOVE the dress.

ROBERT PATTINSON:

ROBERT PATTINSON. He looks so hot like always. He is wearing head-to-toe Gucci, including a custom tuxedo, white dress shirt and black silk tie.

KRISTEN STEWART:

Her dark hair may still nod to her role as Joan Jett in The Runaways. The Orange Rising Star Award Winner is more pretty than punk in her beautiful white Chanel strapless dress and matching high heeled Roger Vivier sandals.

KATE WINSLET:

balances elegant and sexy perfectly in her lace-inset Stella McCartney black gown and Tiffany & Co. jewels.

GABOUREY SIDIBE:

The rising star strikes a pose as she makes her way into the award ceremony in a fabulous pale pink gown. She looks pretty good.

CAREY MULLIGAN:

Best actress winner – makes a fashion-forward choice in her bi-level, floral Vionnet dress and antique Fred Leighton diamonds. The dress is not pretty for a normal point of view. If you look at it in the fashion point of view it is a wonderful dress.

BONNIE WRIGHT:
.

The redheaded Harry Potter star is stunning in a plunging, gold satin Prada gown and Wright and Teague jewelry. She looked really good and the dress is unbelievable.

AUDREY TATOU:

Despite having played the designer to create the LBD, the Coco Avant Chanel star is all about color, pairing her rose-colored, asymmetrical Lanvin dress with bright red accessories. She is beautiful and her dress compliments her in every aspects.

ANNA KENDRICK:

The actress is a ray of sunshine in her marigold Pucci cocktail dress and gold Jimmy Choo sandals. I don`t really like the dress but she makes it work.

Thanks for following and please comment if you have any questions or want to share your point of view. :D

New York Fashion Week!!!:D

It’s the most wonderful time of the year. Christmas? Nope. Valentine’s Day? Not even close!

It’s that time of year where tall, thin models walk the streets of New York City in beautiful clothing. That’s right. You guessed it. It’s New York Fashion Week!

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Fall 2010 began Thursday.

Fashion Week has set the tone for the fall 2010 season in just the last five days.

Military-inspired fashions will be popular this upcoming fall. Awesome designers Brian Wolk and Claude Morais seemed to base their collection in silhouettes and men outerwear. Their military-inspired look was very beautiful! Don't you think? All of the models had their hair twisted into buns so high that they were almost touching their foreheads! It looked really cool!

This year, fur was seen all over the runway in the past several days. My favorite fur clothing shown at this year’s fashion week so far is definitely Thakoon. I just have to have this cream colored hood.

Some of my favorite designs are (so far) of Fall Fashion Week 2010. Prabal Gurung showed some really interesting and beautiful looks on the runway Saturday. One of my favorites is this block colored, dress. His runway was was AH-MA-ZING! I can’t wait to see what he comes up with next!

Please comment and tell me your favorite designs:D

Here are the designs of this fabulous 5 days!
